Whenever there are some difficulties or problems related to anything, people just don't care they ignore it. Eventually a time comes when they will notice the problem. Because that problem now increased with time and now it causing PAIN.  I said 90% people are like this, but the remaining 10% believe in prevention of the problems before it lead to pain.  Similarly, in dentistry  patients comes to dental clinic only when they feel tooth pain. Before knowing many abnormalities of teeth and surrounding structures, first let see what is a normal teeth and it's supporting structures. To explain that I have to show you the image of a normal single tooth in its most simplest form so that everyone can understand.
